Where Is Toby?
First there was Save Toby, a site on which some guy (whose name apparently is Bion) threatened to eat his pet rabbit if he hasn't received $50,000 by June 30 (apparently he's already raised almost $30,000, which is pretty amazing, if true). Now there's Where Is Toby, on which one of Bion's friends offers to expose Bion's full contact information... for $5,000. I guess this will appeal to rabbit rights activists who want to send Bion hate mail. A while back someone also had a Cook Toby site up, but that now appears to be gone. However, Screw Toby is still up. (Thanks to David Emery for giving me a heads up about this).

There was a blog a while back where some guy's rabbit died. so he cooked it and ate it. i dont know if it was posted on the site, but i think it was.

By coincidence, I had roast rabbit just a couple of nights ago - a new recipe of my girlfriend's, with honey and garlic. It was delicious!
I have five more in the freezer.

I think it's a hoax too. Look at the pictures in the gallery. It's obvious the guy cares about his rabbit.
Even if he didn't get the money, I don't believe he'll eat his rabbit. He could always go to the store and buy rabbit meat and eat it, then claim he ate Toby.

Both of these sites are simply ways for no-hopers to possibly make money. End of story.

It's been changed to November 6th, 2006. He is also now linking to a cafe press site which has some decent looking tshirts/gifts. Still can't recieve paypal.

So now he says he's going to cook Toby on November 6 for a "midsummer feast"? Even in the southern hemisphere, early November is not midsummer. Maybe he plans on Toby TV Dinners to freeze and eat next summer.
