The latest craze
sweeping through LiveJournal, Xanga, and other blogging communities involves people posting this message on their blogs:
A girl died in 1933 by a homicidal murderer. He buried her in the ground when she was still alive. The murdered chanted, "Toma sota balcu" as he buried her. Now that you have read the chant, you will meet this little girl. In the middle of the night she will be on your ceiling. She will suffocate you like she was suffocated. If you post this, she will not bother you. Your kindness will be rewarded.
It obviously seems to be inspired by the movie
The Ring. Other than that I don't know much about this (such as who started it, etc.), though I do know that I'm now safe.
Comments
so this chain mail needs to be picked apart
so that people aren't afraid of being suffocated.
first things first.
the year is 2007.
this supposed murder happened in 1933.
the murderer must have been at least fifteen years old... or something like that.
so the murderer would be eighty nine years old now.
do you really think that an old man has the energy to come and suffocate the millions of people who don't post this?
not likely.
second.
have you looked up the number of people that have died of suffocation in the last year?
there have been a lot
but the numbers don't match up.
there haven't been enough murders to 'punish' the people who don't repost this
third.
how did this get on the internet anyway?
did the little girl write it?
did she have someone else write it for her?
fourth.
i've read this multiple times
and not once reposted it
and i am obviously still alive.
ALL YOU PEOPLE WHO ARE POSTING IT TO BE 'BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY' ARE LOSERS.
EFFIN GROW UP.
No, this is not true. No, some random dead girl will not kill you.
