The Peace Fetus

This image appears to have been circulating on the internet for almost a year, but it was new to me. It's an ultrasound of a fetus displaying a peace sign. Cute. And apparently real.

The ultrasound was taken on December 13, 2006. It shows the baby of flickr user pkoczera. (I don't know his real name.)

It's backwards, it's actually the British "up yours" gesture. Rude little child.

I was just about to point out the same thing.

Also, I have a 3D ultrasound piccy of my little boy flipping a bird (I believe that's the term) to... us? the doctor? we never quite worked out the target of his ire.

Looks like Winston Churchill doing his V for Victory thing to me.

Looks a lot more clear and distinct than any of the other, admittedly few, ultrasound scans I've seen. And the British "rude gesture" is made with the palm toward the person making the gesture, this is with the palm toward the viewer, 180 degrees out.

It's cute. I was very interested when I read this post. Thanks for sharing this.
