As someone who writes about cricket, I can confirm that there is currently no Panama women's national side, just a men's side. For those interested, the US women's national side make its international debut on Sunday in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Might be some sort of publicity thing, or perhaps a 'cheerleader' group..

I looked again and the 'artist' also made the thighs bigger to bulbous according to the original, more like a man's as well as sucking in the waists to Barbie size.

The name of a team wouldn't be on the back of the shirt...or isn't in any sport I know of. The player's numbers are on the back of the team so coaches & other officials can keep track of where everyone is...and where they need to be.

Cricket must have a rather different reputation in the USA compared with the UK.

It's pretty obvious that it was altered they should not be in <a >cricket</a> with that butt!

The US actually has a long history of cricket - George Washington played the game - with the first mentions of cricket in the US being earlier than in some parts of England! They also played the first ever international match against Canada, in any sport not just in cricket, in 1844.

I'm not a fan of sports, but I don't think athletes play in what look like high-heeled boots. I might be wrong, though.

Cricket is regularly played here (NW area of greater Toronto), there's a league and public playing fields. It's mainly but not exclusively the children of immigrant's from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, the Caribbean.
As a child in Saskatchewan, we regularly played a variation of cricket called "stooks", using baseball bats and balls; the only significant difference was that the scoring was much simpler and the number of players was variable. Oh yes, and the batsman could hit the ball as many times as he wanted, which meant that he could bunt the ball then whack it while it was laying on the ground. This led to very interesting confrontations, with the batsman hovering over the ball, bat raised like a golf club, daring the defending player(s) to try to recover it and risk getting smote with the bat.

Another difference was that only the player holding the ball or the ball itself could knock down the wicket while the offensive team was running. But if you were hit with the ball between wickets, you were out. I have memories of carrying a bat while being chased over hill and dale, sometimes even through the school, trying to avoid an opposing player intent on beaning me with the baseball.
Hm,,,, we turned cricket into a blood sport,,,, but it was lively.
