Real-Life Donkey Kong?
Status: Photoshopped
It took me a while to decide whether or not this photo had been photoshopped, perhaps because I really wanted it to be real. But eventually I grudgingly decided it had to be photoshopped. (I was thinking an artist may have placed cardboard cutouts on the scaffolding.) I found the photo on hot-potato.org, which identifies the building as McCarren Park in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The photo was taken by Steve Ingkavet.

It's Photoshopped, but give the large population of unemployed "hipster" artists living in Wiliamsburg, its only a matter of time before someone decides to do it for real.

I thought that was a real gorilla up there.

I just think whoever made this up has a really good photo-imagery sense, and a great sense of humor; or that's humour to our less educated cousins.

...and oh, Boy, am I going to catch hell for that! Sorry, Flora, please don't ban me, I'm only teasing - really, truly. I love the Aussies, and the Brits, and the Canuc-oops, Canadians, and X doesn't believe Scotland exists, but I love you guys, too.

U asked for hell so here goes...less educated cousins? Because we spell and pronounce things correctly? Last time i checked Americans were speaking English not the English speaking American. Not having a go I promise! But it really is annoying pronouncing Herbs.. erbs..it has an H in it u know! However yr HUMOUR is always COLOURFUL Stork and I accept the apology for yr BEHAVIOUR!!!

Umm, yes, that's what I typed. Oh, and I only have a High School diploma & 60 college credits, but no degree, and just 50 years of experience in life, which has proven to be a far greater education that even the finest university can provide. I love all you guys and Ladies, American, British and of other British cultural origin. We westerners had better stick together, eh? Oh, yeah, and I'm quite fond of people of other cultures, too. Just read my forum signature for my belief about humanity in general. I was joking about an old stick with the English language. I expected heck about it, as Merve gave me (kudos, btw, and yes, we Americans hate 'U'). So it's all in fun (and thanks Flora, for your courtesy). In rememberance of international "Speak like a Pirate Day", may I say, "Ye are a Fine Wench!"?

Anyway, shouldn't that be "less educated cosins", if yo(u) are going to be consistent?
wink

Oh, yes, and there's always "Yo!" spoken here too loudly and often. Or is that 'lodly', cosin?
