Robber holds up bank using baby doll
A 25-year-old man attempted to hold up a bank in Karachi, brandishing a baby doll and a blood pressure pump. He said the doll was a bomb and the pump was a grenade. The police were called and arrested the man. The bomb disposal team then discovered the doll was stuffed with harmless wires. The would-be robber "said that he had earlier tried to rob the same bank on Saturday, but had been foiled because it was closed."

There's actually a better Paris Hilton jail edition doll if you look around ebay.
Also, those pocket people sound better than they appear, considering I could make them at home quite easily. They basically just printed the digital picture onto fabric and sewed it together. It would have been a lot neater if it was an actual plastic face made to look like someone you know.

Re: The bank robber- it seems that barely a day goes by when I don't hear about someone in the states trying to commit a particularly strange bank robbery - I think you should make it your national sport. Points could be given for the utterly useless nature of any object used to threaten staff, and how people actually collapse laughing before you run away.

Nona, and we could reduce jail time for particularly good ones and increase it for lousy ones. But unless we could televise it, and bet on it, it wouldn't catch on.
