Quarter-stealing Bird
A bird that steals quarters from a vending machine. Is this a hoax? I honestly don't know.

The thing is - I don't think a bird would have any interest in coins even if they were easy to reach (scattered on the ground) - I just can't imagine them being drawn to them.
Another problem I have with the story - the photos were too good - I don't think they came from a security video.
Another problem - it's anonymous - "Bill has a car wash" ? Why so anonymous? No city, no state, no name of business...
The amount of $4000 was pretty wild too, that's a lot of quarters - it would require so many "runs" - surely someone would have noticed the birds and the owner wouldn't have needed a security camera.
I'm quite skeptical of birds stealing quarters, even more skeptical of bids burrowing inside machines to get them ...
