Magic Power System

We've seen quite a few dubious devices that claim to enhance the performance and mileage of automobiles. The BioPerformance pills come to mind. However, the Magic Power System (aka MPS Power Shift Bar) is something special because it's a product that's not even vaguely plausible. It's on sale on eBay UK for the low buy-it-now price of £34.99 (about $52). All you do is plug it into the lighter socket of your car, and here's the improvements you will see:
  • enhance fuel efficiency - saves gasoline (10-30%)
  • increase engine torque - increase power (2-5ps)
  • reduce car emissions - contribute to the environment unconsciously
  • improve car audio sounds
  • the small device cleans the entire car electrically including its body
  • battery level check function: LED blue light for normal, LED red light for caution
  • silent, no more noise
What a bargain! (via jalopnik)

Scams Technology

I don't understand what happened, Alex. I was under the understanding that this site was designed to expose hoaxes, not to merely promote new products, no matter how amazingly groundbreaking they are.

I'll buy your Magic Power System, but only because it is, without a doubt, the most awe-inspiring technical marvel to ever grace the face of the planet. It is not because you tell me to!

P.S. Do you know of anything I can put inside my glove box that will make my car fly? That would be great. I have $12 to spend on one...

I'm going to wait and buy Version 2.0. I hear it will also cure cancer if you drive around with it in your lighter socket.

Well, I admit that's pretty special but the "Orgone Power Wand DeLuxe" (current bid at USD100.00 :wow: ) features "protection AND manifestation".

Like the MPS it's 12v powered.

Apparently "most people...can see the energy emanating from it with their bare eyes".

Finally, and perhaps best of all it comes with a "A tight fitting leather sheath... That makes the Power Wand even more pleasurable to handle"

And if you don't buy one and use it you will be blamed for higher gasoline prices, losing the war for the Allies and curvature of the spine.

That goes in the lighter socket!?!? Uh oh.

Does anyone know the name of a good proctologist?

"And if you don't buy one and use it you will be blamed for higher gasoline prices, losing the war for the Allies and curvature of the spine."

Extra points for paraphrasing George Carlin.

Hi all...
I had used this MPS, at 1st i feel that reli make me save much of petrol, but in one day my car battery look broken, i cannot start my car anyway. after that i remove MPS and put new battery into my car and start, after that i remove the new battery and replace back my old battery into my car. i move around my car for 10min without MPS,than i shut down my car, after 1 hours i start again, my car is ok already.
so i feel that this MPS is not a good product...since it can make our car cannot start..
