Eerie Ghost Video

Here's what the setup to this little piece of video says:
Supposedly this is a car commercial that never aired. I'm thinking that it is more probably a very good student project using Computer Graphics. About 2 seconds into the "commercial" notice something moving along the side of the car, like a ghostly white mist that looks humanish.
All I'm going to add is that this really, really got me.

Some of you need to get a life! I've seen it lots of times, and there is a difference between being scared (surprised) and being "scared of the bogeyman". I have been startled by it many times. I think it's a hoot! I would love to find some good hi res copies of it. A couple of them I have put on DVD to "share the love". It gets most people. I have tweaked the audio some, so that you have to turn it way up to even hear the background music, and then maxed out the volume for when the "ghoul" screams.

man, my teacher showed it to us this morning and he said it was a car ad and it was a little mist at the front end of the car and they said they did not publish it because it would creep people out. so i was like i aint scared of nothin. so he was tellin me to look closely for the car to come out of the trees. im all in the computer lookin and then it happened. i almost pissed in my pants.

Well, all those of you who were able to laugh at this thing, congratulations. Because that horrible commercial simply scared the living hell out of me, and I was unable to sleep the night I watched this. Call me a wussy, I don't care. I hate being scared. Laury, if you think that is bad, here in my country they ran this and several variants for the same product on late-night TV, usually during ANGEL or FIREFLY. Now _that_ was heart-attack city.

To my knowledge they never sold can one of the stuff here. Big surprise.
