Family Pranks for April 1st

FamilyFun has a list of thirteen pranks that can be played on family members on April Fools Day. The list includes:
  • Wake the kids up at 3am and tell them it's time for school
  • Sew shut the fly on Dad's underwear
  • Create a fake coffee spill (includes a recipe for doing this: mix together equal parts white glue and brown puff paint and let the mixture dry on wax paper... I have no idea what 'puff paint' is)
  • Fasten a rubber band around the spray attachment on the kitchen sink

Hmmm.. my submission word was 'Joke'...

'Puff Paint' is a type of paint used to decorate t-shirts and stuff, so named because it doesn't dry flat, it dries raised up.

I haven't yet met a man who admits to using the fly on Y-front underwear. Most of them are too constricting, apparently.

I'm more a fan of salt in the sugar bowl, and oddly colored breakfasts for April Fool's.

Puff paint comes in a bottle that sort of looks like a large bottle of Visine. It's filled with paint that is sort of "puffy" when it dries. Very popular in the 80s & early 90s.

Sick Family Pranks for April 1st
FreakyFamilyFun has a list of thirteen pranks that can be played on moronic family members on April F'n Fools Day. The list includes:
1)Wake the kids up at 3am and tell them the house is on fire, and the only way out is to stop, drop and roll through dog doo.
2)Sew shut the fly on Dad's underwear while he's wearing them.
3)Create a fake urine spill (includes a recipe for doing this: mix together equal parts clear fingernail polish and yellow puff paint and let the mixture dry on wax paper... I have no idea what 'puff paint' is)
4)Fasten a rubber band around the spray attachment on the kitchen sink, turn the water to scaldingly hot, and cook the flesh off your sister's back.

Raoul, you, if anyone, should know. April F'n Fools Day isn't on the 1st. It's a few days later when no one is suspecting anything.

Um. Having been male my whole life, having urinated many times, and having been around other males urinating on more than one occasion I think that I can say with authority that it would be a rare man indeed that would notice that the fly had been sewn up.

Meh.. depends if you're a boxers or breifs man, I suppose.

But yeah, the fly of a Y-front is theoretically a valid option, but it's pure optimism on the designer's part.

Ok, why do you people hate your families so much? What's funny about this crap? Making a mess and humiliating your loved ones? We called that revenger in my family. Like the time my brother tried to beat me up and I took all the bulbs in his room (like 10, track lighting and a couple of lamps) and shook the filament loose. Of the time I hid ice cubes in his bed. I did it because I hated him, not because it was cute. I also did it when I was 13...

I was under the impression that humiliating your loved ones was what families were all about...

Went to my parents' house yesterday (very crowded, what with eight of us there) and spent an entertaining afternoon fighting with my brothers (we found some old fencing swords), making IKEA bookcases and telling my sister she smells of piss. Ahh, good times.

I did the "Fasten a Rubber band on spray attachment on kitchen sink" prank. It was funny as hell. My roomate was pretty pissed though, but it was well worth it!!!

Rubber band eh...
I'm so doing that one.

Cellophane over the underseat of the toilet, you know, when the men go to piss, even if they pick the seat up.

Powdered sugar sprinkled evenly in the bed, between the sheets-- works better if the sheets are all white... the target wakes up sugar coated in the morning.

Wow, if a few of the above people get their way, anyone who pulls a practical joke will be sent to jail for a hate crime.

Shit, people, lighten up, it's not like people are cutting off extremities or burning crosses on lawns or anything.

Although I should mention that I can't speak for Raoul, you all know what HE's like...
😜

No doubt Raoul can speak for himself! 😊

I feel rather deprived. We never did any April Fools pranks when I was young (beyond the "Look! A spider on you shoulder!" joke).

My brother for the longest time every April Fools day would tell my twin sister and me that we were going to Disneyland! (we're between the ages of 4-7) we fell for it every time!!! We'd put on our Minni Mouse shirts with matching shorts pack our Disney backpacks and head out our bedroom door to find at our dismay that we weren't really going to Disneyland... :grrr:  So every year I try and try to come up with something to get him back with but I still have not come up with anything..... hmm it is now the 1st at 2:45 and I'm still thinking.
