Eyeball Stickers
Status: Prank
Quite a few blogs are linking to these fake eyeball stickers, though I haven't been able to track down if any company is actually selling them. Nevertheless, they're a good idea if you want to take a nap at work while pretending to be working. Just place the stickers over your closed eyes, and no one will be the wiser. (via J-walk).
Update: If you really want to buy some eyeball stickers of your own, Roylco sells them. They're not exactly the same as the eyeball stickers in the picture above, but they're close. (Thanks to Becca for the heads up about this.)

Except for the eyelashes along the bottom edge of the eye...

Oh yeah, these will totally work...if your job is at the Lighthouse for the Blind.

A lot of women use heavy mascara on their bottom lashes so it doesn't actually look that conspicuous, or it wouldn't at least on a woman.
Having said that they do look rather creepy!
I personally prefer Homer's glasses that he wore during jury duty.

...except for the LACK of eyelashes along the top of the eye. I guess I should have pointed that out as well, when I posted my original comment!!!

In that movie where the two guys are stuck together (Matt Damon is one of them...I can't remember the other), they meet a guy who draws fake eyes on his eyelids to make it look like he is working in case his wife comes in.

... I think the store I used to work at sold these, or something like them. Or we had some floating around in back. I might just be thinking of all the glasses-with-fake-eyes we sold, but I don't think so. The Theatrical Shop in Des Moines, IA. They probably don't have them on their webpage, but if you give them a call you might eventually get somebody who knows what you're talking about. _Might._
(The ones I think I'm remembering were a great deal cheesier looking than these, though. And my memory is bad. And we sold so so much stuff..)

They also assume you could sleep with your head upright and stickers on your eyelids.
Seems to me it'd be a lot easier to stay awake during the daytime and sleep at night.

It is quite possible to sleep with your head upright. Something I learned in school. haha

Put on a pair of lightly shaded glasses and it'll add some realism to the illusion.
Not sure about being able to sleep with my head straight though. Maybe add a neck brace to the getup.
These don't look that hard to make. Any paint program, a sheet of white labels, and some trial and error for the right size should do it.

You'd have to put them on while at where you are going to nap, with no one around. With your eyes open, these things will really be obvious. And don't snore.

My dad & my aunt can both sleep sitting straight up. It's a little eerie.

Sorta reminds of Archie comics, where Jughead would use stickers or decals to pretend like he was awake, of course he was always found out.

Of course, if you mastered sleeping sitting up, and the absence of top eyelashes was overlooked, your workmates would be completely freaked out by your lack of BLINKING!

Maybe I SHOULD have a set of those for my balls... If the woman ever says anything, I could just tell her I wanna see what I'm getting into...

That joke just hit the ball's eye. Things are looking up.

According to the article, you don't purchase it at the stores.
Instead, you take a life size photograph of yourself, and then cut out your eye portion and then print it on adhesive paper.
