I think that Pepsi doesnt really have a sweeter taste, but that its crisper, and Coke has a more caramel/syrupy taste. Think about it. Both have an equivalent amount of carbonation and I prefer Pepsi

well. hey, ive taken a many taste tests with coke. somehow i know the difference....and pepsi has more sugar an its proven it can clean off an do all that stuff my coke does but since coke is widley larger an well known in the world( 2nd most known word around the world, first most known brand) they tried an made it sound bad. Coke is differnet in many ways. smell taste, all that crap. it sux ass.

im doig a huge sciece fair thing for my freshman year in college (UT) and its about the diff btwn pepsi and coke, they both basically have the same ingrediants except pepsi has citric acid and sugar, ya coke doesnt have sugar, thats the only difference in the ingedients

yea coke is better. no question about that... but pepsi does have one very good thing about it...they came out with mountain dew

ok here is the real deal of this 3 year on going form......one for the jack a.z.z. that works for coke and said the only reason pepsi is still here is because of mn dew , 1. we sell twice as much pepsi as we do mountain dew, 2. we sell 4 times the amount diet as cola does 3.we have 32 more flavores the coke, 4. is that for the last 7 years we have grown at a 23% rate as a company in whole. 5. we have beat coke in sales, (Especially in bulk sales i.e sams club cost co, etc) for 8 years running, 6. last but not lest we as a company grow and expand every year with things like the buy out of taco bell pizza hut KFC frito lay etc, what has coke done this year, forget that what has coke done in the last 15 years?.......coke will always be around thats a given but dont be surpised when your pay check has a pepsi logo on it.....

The difference is obvious. Pepsi is more mellow and is less fizzy. Coke is much stronger in terms of carbonation. Pepsi maintains a constant carbonation for a while. Coke loses fizz quicker. Pepsi causes me hiccups and causes me to barf. Coke doesn't.

I think coke tastes way better than pepsi because it just does. Pepsi stinks and coke rules thats why it's better way better than pepsi.

I did a statistics research project in school. As this was a very low key study (just a few hundred participants), we found that (with no taste test), that people chose coke products over pepsi products.

We did the chi-square test to see relevance between survey questions and brand preferance, and found that taste had nothing to do with people's decisions; the only correlation out of our 10 question survey was what people were brought up drinking.
