Cave Art: Banksy Strikes Again
The self-proclaimed 'art terrorist' Banksy made headlines back in March for sneaking his own work into various New York art galleries. Now he's done it again. He managed to sneak some faux prehistoric rock art into the British Museum. The rock art depicted a caveman pushing a shopping trolley. It hung in the British Museum for two days before being detected. The British Museum has now loaned the rock art back to Banksy who is displaying it at his own show in London. But they expect to get it back eventually.

lol, that's quite funny. I think they should keep it there, the trauma depicted in the dinosaur's eyes as he walks down the supermarket isle is absolutely breath taking. I can almost feel the cereal box coming off of the shelf, into my hands and into the buggy...true talent...true talent

Shopping trolley? I guess since it's British, it's a trolley.

How's about cart or buggy?

Excellent prank - and kudos to the BM for taking it in good humour. I get so saddened by the way most such pranks seem to lead to outrage...

I hope the BM hang it up on every April 1st, without fanfare.

Yeah, us brits call it a trolley. Over here a cart or a buggy is something kids make to ride down hills in. A buggy is also what you would push toddlers around in until they find their feet.
This guy sounds like fun anyway! Glad there wasn't a big outrage about it. Totally agree... not enough people laugh about this kinda stuff *sigh*
