Cat Gives Birth To ‘Puppies’
Status: False

Cassia Aparecida de Souza, a student in the Brazilian city of Passo Fundo, claims that her cat, Mimi, has given birth to three offspring with canine traits,
reports say.
Mrs de Souza says that Mimi mated with a neighbour's dog three months ago and, when the cat gave birth, three of the offspring showed canine characteristics and three were normal kittens. The three with cat features died shortly after birth.
A geneticist from the Passo Fundo University will take blood samples to verify that the 'puppies' were part of the litter.
(Thanks, Neo.)
UPDATE: The
blood tests show that the cat did
not give birth to the 'puppies'.

cats carry young for 31 days ,, dogs carry for 63 days ,,,, can you really see a cat carry pupies to full term of 63 days, can you imagin the size of her belly it would rip her guts open , and think a bout it ,the puppies would need to be full term of 63 days to be fully developed, and the kittens would certainly die being inside the mother for a further 32 days

A story shouldn't be listed as false until it has been proven false, no matter how obvious. Let the facts speak when they come out. I for one thought it was an interesting story.

"Mrs de Souza says that Mimi mated with a neighbour's dog three months ago and"
It doesn't take three months for a cat to give birth. It takes more than that. I don't know which story to believe, and I'm not sure it's this one.
