Bruce Lee Theme Park Patrolled by Mannequin Robots
Status: Undetermined
There's word of a Bruce Lee theme park being built in China. Nothing particularly weird about that, and no reason not to believe it's true. Here's the weird part: According to local reports, the park will be patrolled by Bruce Lee “mannequin robots”, radio-controlled from within a giant statue of the late star.
Also, there's going to be a rollercoaster "that emits the martial arts actor’s signature grunts and screams on high-speed bends." Sounds kind of cool. I'm guessing that the part about the mannequin robots somehow got lost in translation. In reality, they'll probably have people dressed up as Bruce Lee receiving orders via radio headsets. If they really are robots a "WestWorld" type meltdown is inevitable. Of course I guess this would be "EastWorld" and instead of Yul Brynner cowboys shooting people you will have a bunch of Bruce Lees heartpunching and tiger clawing people. That should be cool

mannequins? That could mean only one thing - it's another attempt by the Autons to invade Earth. Visitors shouldn't be surprised to see a blue British Police Call Box show up on the grounds not too long after the park opens......

The Autons frightened me when I were a wee nipper... going to a local department store that had mannequins everywhere gave me the bejeebus.

Hey, here's an idea. Maybe if they use real robots (who developed them?) and they go beserk, then we can have a wonderful backlash against machinery. Just think of all the people who would be emnployed on farms because all the macherinery was gone, all the people making hand crafted straight pins, etc. Unemployment would be gone forever.

"Ah, Hello...radio controlled Bruce Lee Robots?" Apparently Chinese mentality is from another era! Just look at some of their game shows..totaly nuts! Their strange when it comes to "certain things". But on a different note: Has anyone heard or know about a movie his family in Hong Kong were going to begin filming in January 2007 regarding Bruce's life?
