Boa Eats Kangaroo
Status: Real
I don't have any information about this series of photos, other than that it shows a boa eating a kangaroo. And the photos appear to be real. I found them on a Russian-language website.|

That's one hungry snake...
Posted by Nettie in Perth, Western Australia on Tue Jun 13, 2006 at 06:07 AM
A little while ago there was a snake that ate a crocodile. I'm not sure if I heard about it from your site or not...but anyway, the snake died because it's stomach ruptured.

Oh, and Christian was saying that the snake is more likely a carpet python than a boa as boa's aren't native here, unless of course there's a zoo somewhere that likes to feed it's boas roos.

GROOOOOOOS.

From the pattern it is a scrub python. They feed on wallabies. The above is likely to be just that, a metre tall wallaby being eaten by a 4-6 metre long scrubbie. Scrub pythons can get really long (25 foot/8m isn't unknown).
Either really hungry or really placid (or someones pet) to have photos from that close.

Looks like a carpet snake and a wallaby to me.

Tis does happen.Alex, that is either in a zoo(how many zoo use wallabies as food)or its a python and its labelled wrong.
