Bigfoot Spotted Near Buffalo

Status: Hoax
image Hans Mobius, the 72-year-old president of the Erie County Farm Bureau, claims that last week he saw Bigfoot wandering around on his horse farm in western New York. And he has the pictures to prove it. Here's how the sighting happened:
On Saturday, Mobius said he was heading out on his green John Deere Gator to take some photographs of the ash trees in a small forest - so he could try to sell the trees. He positioned himself in front of the woods to take a panoramic photo when, he said, he "saw this thing out of the corner of my eye." The creature, he said, which was about 150 to 200 feet away, seemed to notice him. It turned to one side, then the other.
"It looked like he might have been confused," Mobius said. Then it "zigzagged" its way into the forest and disappeared.
"The way it moved - it kind of loped a little bit," Mobius said.
I don't think I'm going out on a limb if I say that this is an obvious hoax, and such an amateurish one that it's hardly worth adding to my page of Bigfoot hoaxes. And yet it's getting news coverage. Mobius claims that if it is a hoax, then someone is playing a hoax on him. But I have a suspicion that Mobius is in on it since, as Jeffrey Meldrum (a biology professor at Idaho State University) points out, the guy in the gorilla suit looks like he's posing for the camera.

You really are supposed to use the term "bison", Alex. Of course, why would a bigfoot want to hang out around bison? Perhaps it got separated from its tribe and was lonely. Or maybe it was hungry and wanted some juicy, delicious bison steaks. The young ones are best.

I'm getting pissed off at all these fake Bigfoots out there. I am the real Bigfoot and these pictures make me look like some kind of an animal, which I'm not, I'm a Bigfoot. Am i real, of course I am, as long as you have an active imagination.

They had a piece on this on one of the local newstations last night.

An employee of "George and Co." said that man came in and bought a Gorilla suit from him.

I'm not sure if the asked Mobius about the claim that he bought the Gorilla suit a few days before his "sighting". Or if he did, what his response was.

That is a terrible attempt at a hoax. But not because it appears that he's posing. His story doesn't go very well with his picture. According to the dipshit, the thing was at closest 150 feet and it zigzagged back into the forest. Well it appears his buddy in the suit is not further away from him then 40-50 feet and spitting distance from his Deere.

I know we're dealing with a small picture here which may have been processed multiple times... but when I blow up the pic (and especially after running contrast enhancements in Photoshop) it looks to me like the "guy" might have been photoshopped.

Blow it up yourself, and notice the "halo" around the area of the "creature." Also please notice that there doesn't appear to be ANY detail on the "creature," leading me to suspect it's nothing but a painted on dark splotch.

Opinions?

I was most interested in what a John Deere Gator was that he was riding in. That says a lot. I think I found it.

On the same site I found this cool movie about bigfoot that I watched a long time ago.
