Woman Killed by Frozen Urine
Kelli wrote in with a question about this strange photo showing a woman impaled by a long, yellowish-looking stick. The photo comes with this explanatory caption: "This unfortunate woman was found dead on parkland in Yorkshire, England. She's believed to have been pierced by a shaft of frozen urine which had fallen from a leak in a toilet facility of an overhead plane." Kelli wants to know if it's real. Well, of course it's not. This photo has actually been floating around the internet for quite a while. It seems British have a thing for such stories. It is featured
in one of David Lodge's books, I think "Small World". There,
frozen urine destroys the roof of a house, but I forget how it
relates to the main story.

Tasteless.Well, maybe not TASTEless (I can't speak from experience) but not very flavorful....
Besides, if it HAD come from an aircraft, it'd be blue, not yellow.
