Senior Pranks 2006

Status: Mischief
Most high schools are now out for the summer, so I thought it would be an appropriate time to pause and remember some of the senior pranks that made headlines this year. As usual, they're a mix of the clever, stupid, rude, and cruel.

Car on roof - image Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK High School: School officials found a Honda Accord "painted neon pink and covered with green question marks" on the roof of the high school. "Nassau police and school officials said yesterday that dozens of students used crudely made ramps to drag the Honda Accord... onto the roof."

Power out - Neuqua Valley High School: Two students were arrested for attempting what they called the "senior prank of all senior pranks." Their plan was to disable a generator and take "other steps to ensure the power would go out and classes would be canceled for younger students still in school." They were caught in the act by a custodian and arrested at their homes.

School for sale - Cape Fear Academy: "During the night before their last day of school Friday, about 20 members of the senior class strung a $215, 3-foot-by-9-foot vinyl sign with large, red letters spelling out "Entire School For Sale" and the school's telephone number between two posts in front of the school yard on South College Road. Another 20 or so smaller "For Sale" signs were peppered around the grounds."

Squealing pig - Severna Park High School: Students "released a squealing 31-pound piglet named Hamilton into the halls on the sinister date of 6/6/06 ... Purloined from a county park for an end-of-year stunt, the 3-month-old pig -- nickname: Hammy -- appeared Tuesday morning in the math wing of the Annapolis area school between the first and second class periods. Administrators cornered the frightened animal near an exit, where he submitted to capture as students recorded the moment on their cellphone cameras. 'There was this crowd of people who were, like, 'Omigod, there's a pig,' ' said Sarah Wade, a junior."

Marijuana muffins - Lake Highlands High School: A friend of a student delivered marijuana-spiked muffins to the teachers lounge. "He brought bran muffins to suburban Lake Highlands High School on May 16, saying they were part of an Eagle Scout project. When school employees ate the muffins, they began complaining of nausea, lightheadedness and headaches, and were briefly hospitalized. "They were just thinking it would be fun to get these teachers all silly and giggly," said Rita Greenfield, an 86-year-old receptionist at the school who spent two days in the hospital after eating the muffins.

Cruelty to animals - Ponderosa High School: "The local news broadcasters used words like 'horrified,' 'abusive behavior' and 'unbelievable act of cruelty' to describe the so-called senior prank at an area high school that involved someone dropping 45 baby chicks from a second-floor balcony, resulting in the deaths of seven of the chicks.... Four years ago in the county, a student at Highlands Ranch High School threw a rabbit across the gymnasium at a pep rally, breaking its legs and paralyzing it. The rabbit was later destroyed." (Good grief! PETA needs to open a chapter in that county.)

Doors glued shut - Independence High School (San Jose): "Right in the middle of finals week, an entire high school campus was virtually shut down Tuesday morning, after somebody glued classroom doors shut... The pranksters used super glue, as well as toothpicks in the locks. The numbers "06" were also painted on school buildings... As exams were delayed and students and teachers milled about this morning, maintenance crews used blow-torches to melt the glue that was squirted onto classroom locks."

Personalized underwear - East Aurora High (suburban Chicago): Several seniors were banned from attending graduation "as punishment for participating in an end-of-the-year prank last week that involved spray painting school property, stealing a statue of the Tomcat mascot and hanging underwear adorned with printout photos of administrators' faces in front of the building.... The damages have cost the district $1,700,"

Baby oil on floor - Omaha Burke High School: Students spread baby oil on the school's floors, resulting in injury for one teacher. "The principal of Omaha Burke High School underwent knee surgery Tuesday for an injury she suffered when she slipped on baby oil spread by vandals on the school's floors... Officers had caught five 18-year-olds inside the school, where 20 locker doors had a glue-type substance put in their locks and where the floors and stairs were coated with baby oil.

Flat tires - Jefferson High School (New Jersey): "a high school prankster deflated the front tires of 24 school buses parked at a Weldon Road compound Tuesday, but district officials weren't laughing as they were forced to cancel classes for more than 3,600 students... In addition to the tire damage, the vandals left behind another clue: The numbers "06" spray-painted on one of the buses."

Alcohol allowed - Daniel Hand High School: "Parents of high school seniors received a letter from Daniel Hand High School, with official letter head, concerning the upcoming prom. Included,a policy about drinking that it was allowed!... Principal Barbara Britton acted immediately to get the word out that this letter was not authentic posting a message on the school's website saying: "Let me assure you that underage drinking and the serving of alcoholic beverages is not permissible at the senior prom or any sponsored school event."

so I am currently a sophmore and I plan to do a large prank evry year bit senior year. Then they will blame the seniors and not me. I plan as one of my pranks to hijack the school intercom system and play cricket noises through it. The sound would gradually increase in volume and then be punctuated by something like rapid gunshot.

A few years ago, the senior class, set loose 3 chickens in the school with thenumbers 1 2 and 4

they searched for the 'missing' number 3 the whole day, only to discover that it did not exist

Not so funny ones- bleach balloons
keyed cars
oiled staircases (resulting in pregnant teacher loosing her baby)
sliced tired

i'm pretty sure the prank at Daniel Hand HS was a copy of the prank done at Boiling Springs High School, Boiling Springs, PA in 2003. A few seniors stole the school letterhead and crafted a letter that was sent to parents of gradating seniors. The letter first spoke of legitimate topics, like senior night and class dues. The last paragraph said that "prom season was approaching and students would most likely participate in wreckless physical behavior. In response to this, the school would be providing a limited number of hotel rooms for students to use as they wish after the prom. In each room would be a Condom Care Package. The Condom Care Package would include condoms, personal lubricant, spermicide, etc. Donations would be greatly appreciated. Please contact so-and-so in the HS office."
We ended up in the NY Times and on MTV. It was pretty much the best prank ever.

My class last year snuck into the school at night, drew a chalk figure on the ground in the courtyard with caution tape around the area and ketchup stains around the area. The whole school got freaked out

Me and about 4 friends got a fog machine and fogged up 2 classrooms the day after finals. In the first room, we fogged up the whole room and put candy and some other stuff on the desks as a congratulatory gift for a job well done on our finals. In the next room, we fogged up the room, dressed in all white, and stayed near the walls. When my class tried to enter the class, my friend pushed a kid in, who got scared of anything and one of us grabbed him and scared him shitless. He screamed and scared everyone else. We did it to a couple more people until the fog came out. It was hilarious. The kid (he was a boy) screamed like a little girl and almost shat himself. We didnt get into any trouble though, seeing as we got permission from the two teachers and principal

The best prank(for my school at least) was what the seniors did the year before i graduated. They dug up the football field and planted hundreds of trees. And to my school the football field was "sacred ground" and never to be pranked on. HAHA

Posted by Yodie  on  Wed May 07, 2008  at  12:18 PM
Exchange every item except desks from two different rooms preferably from different ends of the school or different levels. make sure to keep everything the exact way it was so that if that teacher went into the room it would be the exact replica of how their room was.

My school's senior class never did anything that would hurt someone other than their pride. (1) It was tradition that on your birthday your friends would give you a big bouquet of balloons to carry. On my friends birthday, we filled condoms with helium and she was able to carry them for about fifteen minutes before they got taken away. (2) Checking the school manual / rulebook on parking, we found that parking on the running track was not specifically banned. All seniors parked on the track that day, and now it has become a tradition. (3) We bought a big "gift basket" of porno and sent it UPS to the principal. (4) Food coloring in a rival school's pool. Bonus, it was maroon, our school color. this happened just before a swim meet (5) at graduation the school band played the march of the empire (star wars) (6) someone broke toothpicks off in most of the water fountains for an eye squirting surprise. (7) The one I had a hand in, as I was one of the sound engineers, at the end of the last performance of the last musical. AC/DC's Hell's Bells began to play. (8) a fake newspaper was printed and distributed called the falcon fryer with stories that the onion would be proud of. (9) choreographed all at once, the entire third period lunch threw paper wads of wet toilet paper into the balcony where all of the detention kids were sitting. (10) everyone hid beachballs under their gowns and after graduation they shot them skyward and everyone played beachball for about 5 minutes to celebrate. (11) Changed the startup .wav files in the library to random stuff. Especially the Dr. Who theme, but as random as spongebob quotes.

TIRES

for our senior prank of 08

out of tahoma high school in maple valley

took some 350 old used car tires. and put one in each parking spot of a side parking lot at the school. so when students came in the next morning there was no where to park. the ganators had to pick up all the tires from the lot and put them in a big pile that took up 3 parking spot and was about 10 feet high,

okay, me and my friends are NOT yet in high school.. so this is what we have planned
we are going to have a rally where everyone in the senior class would have a major party all night long and then sleep in tents in the back of the school. Then we would wake up really early, leaving everything there and leave. leaving all the trash tents and everything there for the school to pick it up.

(or plan 2)
we would get into the school, and put maple syrup all over the place like on the floors and everything.. and making it IMPOSSIBLE to get into there and be able to have school.

good ideas but most are just stupid or over the top
Posted by john doe  on  Tue Oct 07, 2008  at  11:11 PM
Oh, this one is the best. We got FOUR chickens, right? and numbered them 1, 2, 3, and 4. Once the administrators found three of them, they just assumed that the fourth didn't exist (I wonder why...).

The fourth was found dead weeks later, but that's beside the point.

my class put 10 cows on roofs (all different school buildings) and died all their fur neon colors '08 and numbered them 1, 2,3,4,5,6,7,9,10 and the people went crazy trying to find 8. then we stuck forks in the ground. people turned everything possible upside down (the entire caf was upsidedown and all classrooms and some people walked on their hands.) people of course spray painted all over the place and sillystringed and egged and the usual. and last but not least we emptied the pools and poured all the water in the staff parking. it totally flooded. it was awesome. nobody got in trouble with the law either!

School has an auto phone calling system. Soon will hack the system and program to auto call all (bus drivers, students, teachers, etc) to cancell school the day before sighting, some utility problem.

Best senior prank ever! We emptied the high school pool and filled it with a warm saline solution. Then all the male seniors masturbated into the pool. Over 300 girls in the school got pregnant, even some who were virgins, and no one could figure out who the fathers were! It was hot!

I go to Eldorado High School, and we have had some pretty great pranks over the years. In 1986, the seniors placed 86 tires over the front-entrance flagpole. The school had to use a crane to take them off, but the senior class convinced the administration to leave one on to remember. Itis still there to this day. In 2001, the seniors got a bunch of humongous animal statues from the local putt-putt golf, and stuck them all over the campus

we are going to release a bunch of the goats from the ag barn and put them in the hallways and the cafeteria :cheese: It's going to be amazing!

I have thought of the easiest prank to do, and also the easiest one to get away with. It should also have positive results. Okay, so what you do is get a bag of sugar. Then you open it and put the bag of sugar in a hidden spot. Before you know it, cockroaches will be everywhere.
Posted by El Hobo  on  Mon Apr 20, 2009  at  08:39 PM
Oh, and another good one is to take a screwdriver and unscrew parts of your desk in each class.

My dad's Sr. prank was really funny. Everyone said they would skip assembly, but they choose one socially awkward kid that they didn't tell. He was sitting in the middle of the seats looking confused and about to cry. Everyone else got a zero hour.

Kids at our school in 2007 released 3 pigs and numbered them 1, 2, and 4. The administrators spent hours searching every hallway and classroom for the "3rd pig" (which didn't exist). That is a lot better than "Squealing Pig" from the original post!

This year (2009), 12 kids released a total of four thousand (4000) super-bouncy balls throughout the stairs in between 3rd and 4th period. Everyone left with like 5 or 10 of them, and the custodians didn't even have to clean up. The kids got arrested though for "public endangerment" because kids and teachers could have slipped and fallen.

I think I have a good one. You decide to turn off all the lights, in every room, and turn off everything, and shut down all those computers, and lock the doors and have a sign saying "This is a thoughtful donation from Virtual Family Kingdom. Please do not enter."

My senior prank was when i let loose 10 pigs and 3 cows into the school and they ran all over the school and shit was everywhere

I'm so sick of every person telling the '3rd pig' story, everybody knows it.

We dug a huge '08' into our oval and filled it with water and threw some ducks into it.

In 2005 our senior class had 3 dump trucks full of sand delivered to the school parking lot around 3:30am. After spreading the sand around the whole lot they set up beach chairs, a volleyball court, and blow-up pools (this was done in late May) and proceeded to have a beach party all day. Somehow our principal thought it was perfectly fine, and it even came up as a top story on the local news! =)

On may 28 my senior class had a slip and slide party in our courtyard. People got down to swimming trunks and bathing suits sliding down a plastic tarp loaded up with baby oil, shampoo and water. It was soo funny!! 😊

When I was in high school, my school was all about tradition. My class was always the "goodie-goodie" class, and so the teachers and lower classmen werent very surprised when we didn't pull a senior prank during the last few days of school. Why? We were planning something much bigger.. at graduation. We got the graduation band involved and ordered our OWN caps and gowns. So when the band began to play the traditional graduation song, we began to walk down the gymnasium rows.. in RAINBOW COLORED GOWNS. After a few seconds of playing the band broke out in "Another One Bites the Dust". Our teachers and princple were besdies themself! Our graduation was by far the best.. most unexpected prank my school will ever see!
