Fake Body Parts
Status: Real pictures, but of what?
An Alex from Colombia sent me these pictures and the following note:
I came across these images and sincerely speaking I have no idea what they are. Is there any logical explanation for such thing? I suppose that they are either stage props or someone with a very disturbed mind and undoubtedly very good skills in clay or meat modeling made them, staged them and took the pictures.
Unfortunately I can't identify what's going on in these pictures any better than Alex from Colombia can. It looks to me like body parts being produced in a Hollywood special effects shop. But that's just a guess. At least they're obviously not real body parts.

A baker who likes to create latex body parts on the side? Plus, it looks like a woman in the pictures. Not a guy.

Isn't it obvious? It's a hufu plant.

I remembered the baker story too. They're made of bread by an art student from Thailand named Kittiwat Unarrom, son of a baker family. Googling for "body parts bread" gives some results.

First of all, thank you for mentioning me, secondly, yup, it's bread, I just received confirmation from a friend of mine, that these pictures come from a far east bakery that specialices (or better said caters) in special (gross) figures made out from bread and vegetable colors.
I don't know why or who eats this, but one thought that comes to me is that maybe they could export their products to that guy in Germany who ate someone that willingfully responded to his newspaper ad....sick

This kinda reminds me of the work my dad did for visual effects on for the Nazi concentration camp moviea, "The Grey Zone." He had to design all the corpses and cadavers. It was a grim movie. With lots of violence, and no happy ending whatsoever, because all the good people were killed in the end. Grisley.

I live in Thailand and heard about this from my friend just Yesterday ^^o This is real. Although the breads look very eerie, Mr.Kittiwat makes a lot of money from this =w= I also heard that he is sometimes ordered to bake more than 100 pieces of them. I wonder what kind of person is that customer =w=
For medical use, maybe?

He was featured on Yahoo's office attachments which had a Powerpoint presentation of his bread creations. The aim is to make people think about what they are eating. The bread itself isn't for consumption (I wonder if it is more like salt-dough art?). If I recall correctly, it links to Buddhist thinking about food and what one eats.

I would love to see peoples faces if they saw me chewing on a piece of fake cadaver. That would make for an interseting prank!

Hi, I saw a segment on my ex-wifes Korean Video about this. It was filmed in CAMBODIA, where a guy who is a BAKER and he makes these body parts out of Bread Dough and people eat them. Believe it or not, but it's a fact. Mabey the woman in the pic is his wife or an employee. He really does a good job though. Tony
