The picture to the right has not been photoshopped (would that it had). That woman's waist really is that thin. She's Cathie Jung, who holds the title in the Guinness Book of World Records for the Smallest Waist on a Living Person:Cathie Jung's waist is about the same size as a regular jar of mayonnaise. She's been wearing a corset every day for the past 12 years, and she now wears one 24 hours a day. "I probably have around 100 of them," says the corset queen.
The pictures of Cathie remind me of the Stomach-Sucked-In picture I posted earlier this year. (via The Presurfer)

It's funny when people get into the realms of the extreme and don't realize how they appear to others.
But this is how they want to look, and it appears pleasing to them.
I actually went to her website & read about her story.
This struck me funny:
"Cathie, as a young girl, spelled her nickname with an "ie" instead of a "y" because the latter letter descended to the next line and got in the way of her writing."
She got rid of the 'y' cause it was in her way! Seems like she's always been a person of extremes..

Just the other day, I saw "Plan 9 from Outer Space," which features a great cameo by Vampira (who was the inspiration for the later TV character Elvira, Mistress of the Dark), and I noticed that Vampira sported a profile very similar to Cathie Jung's. I don't know what kind of undergarments Vampira was wearing, but they must have been prodigious.

i think there should be some sort of law against this sort of sickness . We shouldnt be praising her by putting her into the guiness book of records anyway i think that its very wrong.I wonder... What DOES she look like on the inside?

I see that I am in the minority, but I admire anyone devoted enough to any cause to be the best. Tight lacing to 15" is every bit an accomplishment as running the 100 Meter in the fastest time, or building the biggest bicepts. The woman's a grandmother, so don't expect a beauty queen to go with the figure.

well, i think that she looks amazing.But the waist is a bit too small and that kind of takes it from amazing to weird.But gra8 dedication 4 wering a corset 4 so many hrs a day.

anyway i just have to say wow her body does look like a blow up doll and i can only imagine what her x-rays look like..
i want to give the lady props for enduring all that pain to accomplish this... but you think she would have picked something to accomplish that wouldn't potentially kill her !
thats all i got..
she reminds me of a picture i saw in a magazine of what a woman would really look like in barbie proportions

well i had seen her on a tv game show just a few days ago and she really does have a 15-inch waist. She is not sucking in a holding her breath! So there!!

I had a barbie who looked exactly like her. My cousin's dog mutilated it...

As I see it we could compare her to Barbie. Now if she had the same proportion as Barbie with a 15" waist her bra size would be 22D, if her waist were 18" (close to barbies real proportion) her bra size would be 26F.
Now I have nothing against tight lacing howev er there is a limit to everything. Personaly I think she has gone at least 5" beyound a sane limit. Makes me wonder what her waist would be without ever lacing (26 to 30) would be my guess.
Also how is her health? Does she have back problems? Can she walk a mile in her corset? least of all could she run even a block?

O_O;;;; Make her boobs larger and she'd look like one of the females in One Piece....I still find their bodies weird-looking, what with the enormous round breasts and thin waists and stuff.....

Yes it makes her look sick and disformed but i surpose its up to her what she wears and to honist its not hurting any one but her self its her body that is odd shaped so the best thing to do is let her be.!
