Upside-Down Christmas Trees
Status: Real

Target.com
is was selling an upside-down Christmas tree for $499.99. (Thanks to Travis for the link--which has now gone dead, therefore I removed it) I'm not religious, but my first thought when seeing it was that it would be a perfect holiday decoration for a family of Satanists, to accompany their upside-down crosses and
crucified Santa. I know it's not a joke, or some mistake on Target's part, because
Hammacher Schlemmer is selling the same thing for $100 more. I understand these things are supposed to be space-savers, but why not save space by buying a smaller tree? I guess I just don't see the point, or appeal, of an upside-down tree. And why are they so ridiculously expensive?

this tree has to be the dumbest idea ever!!

we used this from a translator. christmas trees arent meant to hang upside down. this was just rredicuous!! it will fall over and land on your four year old child. she was severely injured and thought the tree was too ugly to put up anyways. so f*** you!!

Wow, first of all, many of the comments on here should be X-rated, or maybe "R"-rated for RETARD!! People who feel compelled to cuss to make their point just show what a terribly limited vocabulary they really have. Not to mention that it does absolutely NOTHING to promote your perspective. Anywaaaaay, let me say this about the upside down tree -- in the end, it really doesn't MATTER. Jesus was born of a virgin, he died on a cross for payment of our sins, he rose again, and he's coming back again. No other person ever HAS or ever WILL, and it was prophesied in the Old Testament hundreds of times before he was even born. NONE of this is changed by a Christmas tree, no matter WHAT shape or direction it's pointing! People thru the ages have tried in vain to "kill" Christianity and negate/discredit Jesus. They have failed every single time and will continue to fail because God's word never returns void and His plan cannot be "foiled" by man. So, ha, do what you want with your "holiday tree" -- God is still in control!
