Bullshit Protectors

image This image of a veteran wearing a "Bullshit Protector" over his ears as he listens to President Bush giving a speech was doing the rounds about two weeks ago. So I'm a bit late getting to it, but better late than never. The veteran is Bill Moyer, and the picture was taken by AP photographer Douglas Pizac. Wiseass.org was inspired by the picture to design an entire series of Bullshit Protectors that you can print out and make on your own.

I was wondering what this item has to do with hoaxes, and then I remembered:
Oh, yeah. Bush was speaking.

Just thought you would like to know how the right wing is responding to this.....I just received the picture with a different caption under it;
"Bill Moyer, 73, wears a "Bullshit Protector" flap over his ear while Senator Ted "I fell asleep at the wheel" Kennedy addresses the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
How is that for bald faced lying.

Yes, I am getting email from Fright-Wingers, since on my wiseass.org site I have downloadable BS Deflectors along the lines of the ones Mr. Moyer was wearing, and they are all claiming it was being worn while listening to Ted Kennedy.

The photo was from where Bush, on Tuesday August 23, 2005, addressed the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The story was carried on the AP wires in a story by Nedra Pickler (hardly a liberal journalist BTW), and the photo was taken Douglas C. Pizac an AP photographer. They are creating mud to muddy the waters of course, with lying Fright-Wingers

I've had a pair of bullshit protectors for years, so it's not like the Dems/libs have an original concept here. If there's a fraud to be exposed, I'd say its with the Dems for claiming it as an original thought, something they aren't traditionally well known for.

I have seen the same pics of the vet saying he was listening to Bush in Idaho and another syaing he was in Salt Lake city which is in Utah. I think he was listening to Ted Kennedy and the DEMOCRAPS turned it around.

No, he was def listening to Bush...the AP article in question mentions that several other vets did the same, causing the Prez to lose it and scream at his aides "Tell those VFW assholes that I'll never speak to them again if they can't keep their members under control!".

Who cares to whom the guy is listening! Is it a cute idea or not? That is the only point that matters.

I don't know about you, but I for one am tired of the political bantering and BS. Whether a Democrat or Republican, Liberal or Conservative; they should DO WHAT IS RIGHT FOR THE PEOPLE and not Special Interests or themselves.

So to put a little levity in my life, I purchased some BS Ear Protectors. They at least make people laugh when discussing politics.
