WiFi Speed Spray

A
recent auction on eBay was for WiFi Speed Spray. Spray the air around your computer with this stuff, and it will increase the speed of your wireless connection by scrubbing and cleansing the air, thus allowing the radio waves to move more rapidly. Funny joke. The auction got some coverage from
Gizmodo. However, what Gizmodo didn't realize was that the idea was blatantly stolen from John Walkenbach who has had the concept
posted on his site for years (John is also the author of classics such as the
3rd Annual Nigerian Email Conference). It's incredibly lame to not only steal other people's hoaxes and present them as your own, but also to try to make a quick buck by doing so.

If turn signal fluid can fix the problem caused by putting the wrong size bulb in your turn light, where the darned thing looks like it needs defibrillation whenever you want to turn, then there are an awful lot of drivers out there who need it.

Sorry, but the use of turn signals is illegal in Dallas.
Apparently.

Sorry to correct you Craig, but the use of turn signals in the Metroplex is only illegal when making lane changes or turns. However, turn signal usage is mandatory when traveling on the freeway with no change of lane.

Turns signals are strictly for misdirection in New Orleans.
The joke goes "an out-of-stater moved to Louisiana and went to get an inspection sticker for his car. The mechanic reached in the car, grabbed the turn signal lever and ripped it out of the steering column. 'You won't need these here!'"

Charybdis, you must have spent some time as a Dallas traffic cop. The rules are exactly as you say.
