Photocopier Accident
image Here's a link to some video footage of an accident with a photocopier. I don't have any details about where this footage was taken, or if it's real. Although it looks staged to me.

Hahahaha! Classic! The guy looks so pleased with himself then... SNAP!

I don't care if it's real or staged, that's pretty funny.

It is staged; security cameras don't have sound.

Actually, I don't see the link. I was responding because I've seen the movie before.

Citizen Premier: "It is staged; security cameras don't have sound."

Good point. Speaking of which, it makes me think of police chases in TV shows like COPS when we hear car tires screeching from helicopter footage. I do realize they add dubbing to make it sound more incredible, but it's still an insult to our intelect.

Most security camera's don't have sound built in, however, some do and also it is not uncommon for the sound and video device to be tied in at the DVR.

I am not saying this is the case with this video I am just saying I don't believe this can be ruled a hoax simply because there is audio.

IMHO is is staged though.

Why is this named "netscapead" and being hosted on ads.ign.com? Was it renamed and this is just a coincidence?

I think this estupido gordo is too funny... I am glad he did not do this thing with the old mimeograph machine, with the big rolling barrel to print...I like those machines...I like the smell of the fresh mimeograph copies, as in the officinas at la escuela, you know...I makes me remember the beauty of Miss Brescia, my segundo grade teacher... but, I think, it was Raoul who did the teaching, no? Okay, so don't get me started, you know? ha ha ha... Raoul

Well even if the camera did have sound, I doubt it would have this great sound quality. It seems staged to me, especially because of the good quality and sudden setup.

This looks like a Mad TV bit to me, but I can't verify that it is.

Staged...look at him mugging as he takes his seat.

If it is Mad TV, then it is a bad ripoff of the SNL Assjet 790 Printer "commercial"
Posted by alteregogi  on  Mon Jun 06, 2005  at  03:54 PM
It looks like Horatio Sanz, from SNL.

Security cameras don't have sound?

You're so in the dark ages. Our external system has sound and is infrared to boot. So don't bother sneaking around in the dark, and if you feel you must discuss something with an accomplice, umm... you might be on the next edition of COPS.

Some Security Cameras do have sound, our home security system has them and IR leds for night vision. However I doubt it would be that good quality.

Looks like a total set up, but still funny. If anyone's seen the Pantera Home Video "3 - Watch It Go", you can see someone actually doing that. He jumps up on the photocopier, and the glass shatters. Then, comes the fun footage of glass being removed from... you know. smile

I had a boss who actually DID THIS.

We came into work one morning and the glass was broken.

He tried to claim that he put a heavy box on the copier and it broke by accident.

Finally, when no one would belive him, he fessed up.

No big cuts, just a few scratches 'cause he jumped off when it started to crack.

Him getting out of the broken copy machine or screaming for help would have been even funnier. How come we don't have video of that?

Security cameras can have audio, mine do...in addition, I know a copier service man and according to him, this type of damage to copier glass is quite common.
Quite funny and looked candid to me.
