Toma Sota Balcu
The latest craze sweeping through LiveJournal, Xanga, and other blogging communities involves people posting this message on their blogs:A girl died in 1933 by a homicidal murderer. He buried her in the ground when she was still alive. The murdered chanted, "Toma sota balcu" as he buried her. Now that you have read the chant, you will meet this little girl. In the middle of the night she will be on your ceiling. She will suffocate you like she was suffocated. If you post this, she will not bother you. Your kindness will be rewarded.
It obviously seems to be inspired by the movie The Ring. Other than that I don't know much about this (such as who started it, etc.), though I do know that I'm now safe.

I find it hard to believe that just because I didn't repost something on the internet that someone is going to kill me. It's all a big joke.

Now the "Toma sota balcu" thing is in Myspace.com and making it's way pretty well around. I'm not perpetuating it, just wondering about it though. I hat ethese things personally... but I would just like to commend everyone here, whose posts I've read, on having such a great sense of humor. I rather enjoyed myself, thank you all.

Regarding Toma Sota Balcu: There are several varying versions of this chain letter. In one, the chant reads "tomo sama te blistat," a little more Latin sounding. Like the game of telephone, the message is altered as it is passed around. For the record, this is all nonsense anyway. The real chant was "Culbo mantakie lokohanan." Someone should put that in the next posting of the chain letter.
