Imagine John Lennon Singing Pro-War Songs in Heaven

Ever wondered how John Lennon is getting along in Heaven? According to 'internationally known' psychic Linda Polley he's doing very well. She's been channeling his spirit and reporting on what's going on with him. You can read all the latest news on the
John Lennon and George Harrison's Official Website from the Afterlife. The biggest surprise is that John has
"officially divorced his former partner Yoko Ono Lennon for her support of homosexuality" and decided to marry a dancer named Mary Marie Francesca. Oh, and John has also penned many news songs, which he
shares with the people back on earth via Linda Polley. Most of the songs are about his new pro-war views and his strong support for the Bush administration's policies in Iraq. For instance, one recent work is titled
Hussein's Butt Song (it's all about how we kicked Hussein's butt), and there's also the catchy
Vote for Allawi! To be honest, I'm not sure whether or not any of this is meant to be taken seriously (I kind of suspect it is). But one thing I do find oddly incongruous. Linda Polley claims that all the songs have been composed by John Lennon, and yet she simultaneously makes a point of claiming copyright, warning that "None of the lyrics or the audio files may be copied without the precise consent of Speaker Linda Polley." But if John Lennon wrote the songs, why does she own the copyright?

Well, I don't know about John Lennon
But I think we know what Linda Polley's views are
I expect the songs are a consignment of fish and she can't get them published without a gimmick.

Dead people can't own things.

But his estate can own things.

And his estate is probably so appalled by this poor, crazy broad that they wouldn't give her the encouragement of acknowledging her,

He seems to have lost his touch. Just a little.

It seems fairly clear that the reason she is claiming he has divorced Yoko is so that his next of kin (namely Yoko) has no legal claim on these songs
I wonder if a divorce in heaven is recogniseable in the law courts?
Anyway, despite the danger of making myself look like a right donkey I have decided to redress the balance. I have today contacted the spirit of John Lennon myself; he still loves Yoko very much and would like her to receive any and all royalties from these songs that he doesn't remember writing.
And to those of you who do believe in spirits, don't. If you lend them money, you'll never see it again.

John Lennon writing pro-war songs?
That isn't even funny.

I have seen a lot of weird crap on here, but that is the weirdest and the absolute worst, most maladjusted, misleading, sorrowfully bad bad bad thing I've ever seen anywhere.

This lady needs to listen to Whitney that "crack is wack", cause she must be smokin it to write such BS.

It also shows the depths of tastelessness and mindless jingoism to which right-wing scumwads will sink. Maligning the dead to line one's own pockets...
If this Polley bitch is so damned pro-war, she should volunteer. And be sure to ask the recruiter for infantry.

Perhaps a minor detail
But when claiming to channel the thoughts of
a famous person. Learn their language first.

I am a musician and a Beatles fan. I listened to the songs on the site and must say that there is no way that Lennon wrote those songs. The chord structures and vocal/lyrical arrangements are nothing like the Beatles. Polly's songs are FAR to simplistic and her generic melodies in no way resemble Lennon's past work.
Unless Lennon forgot how to be a musician when he died, he did not write these songs.

Why would John Lennon go to heaven in the first place? According to the church he has done enough "sins" in his life... Just check those quotes of John:
http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/authors/j/john_lennon.html
BTW, wasn't John himself pro-homosexuality? There are even confirmed stories that he had sex with other Beatle members...

Vote for Allawi? Allawi isn't even up for election. It's a national assembly election not an election for prime minister.
Then the song says that "Muhammed's out there fightin' every single day.". But I know that unlike Jesus in Christianity, Muslims consider Muhammed just a man, not divine... so Muhammed is dead, and John should know that seeing that he's also dead.
You know, I'm starting to think that these songs weren't actually written by the ghost of Lennon.

Beatles songs were and are great. This person is just another wannabe looking for their 2 minutes of fame anyway they can get it. It is not only an insult to John and the Beatles but an insult to all songwriters everywhere.

Obviously, John Lennon wrote those songs. I mean, is there any doubt? It's classic Lennon.

I hope her web site doesn't have a large following - John Lennon's songs were too good to deserve this.
