I would still not allow him back until his father did something about his hair.
I guess if you’d said ...‘until his father did something about his own hair….......’ i’d not have read it that way HAHHAHAHA! It truly sounded like you were suggesting that once the father made his son shave his moustache, the father should in addition do something about his [son’s] hair HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
took a bit of searching but I found the dress code section of the Manchester Academy where this young man is a student. It does appear that the school is legally correct that the facial hair is in violation (see area in red)

Well, if that was the dress code at that time and it was made known to the students, then I really don’t see how he has any case in his favour.
Uggs? They can wear Uggs to school? I’m guessing they’re not referring to these Uggs...
Actually, they probably are. That style of boot is pretty popular over here.
(I sometimes get a little smug because mine are real Uggs (and actually bought in Australia!) whilst everyone else seem to wear knock-off brands. )

It’s in there and I marked it in red and the parents and young man have absolutely no leg to stand on at all. Shave it off or go to another school…those are the choices.
I wish we had more dress codes like that over here. I remember in my high school clothes were the least amount one could get away with. One time a girl wore daisy dukes and no panties and did not sit like a lady. So every class with her was a peep show. *insert barfing smiley*

This is VERY similar to the dress codes of three of my schools. I believe it instills not just confidence, but credibility of character and promotes safe boundaries for kids…..and believe me those boundaries, even though a few feel to rebel, make youngsters feel secure; I know it did me.
