In the past people were poor,most people couldn’t afford pork,they could only
enjoy pork on Chinese New Year after killing their own pigs which they raised
during the last year.Now the quality of life is improved,people can eat pork
everyday,so what to eat for New Year?I found the answer during my visit to a former
schoolmate on Chinese New Year—human meat! And it is woman meat!Though the small
village is remote,it’s on the nearest way to a tourist site,so lone travellers come
here to get an accommodation in villagers’ houses,and some female travellers are
chosen and trapped by the owners of these houses,during the captivity they are
provided with rooms and food,but not allowed to leave the room.If the traveller is
a virgin,the villagers will not allow men to rape her,because a virgin has nice
smell near her genital.The villagers raise her until the New Year,then kill her and
enjoy human meat during the festival,even sell it to other families (female
travellers usually get accommodations in middle-aged couples’ houses instead of in
widowers’ houses.).There are almost no tourists during the festival,so the human-
eating manner isn’t known by other people yet.Because I missed my train in that
region and remembered that one of my former schoolmates was living in there,I
visited the village and saw the slaughter of a woman.
The woman was a clerk,over 20 years old.Half a year ago,she resigned and did
not get a suitable job,so she travelled here and there.She was trapped when she got
an accomodation in my schoolmate’s house,now she’s washed up and carried out
without clothes.Her skin was a little red in the cold weather. My schoolmate’s
uncle had a part-time job as a guard of the village,so he had handcuffs to put on the
woman in order to wash her more convenientely.
The villagers put the females on desks and chairs as they do while butchering
pigs and goats,because a special desk for human-meat is too conspicuous.My
schoolmate hadn’t a girl friend,so I joked:“It’s a pity eating such a beauty,you’d
better keep her alive and get marry with her.“My schoolmate told me that the
villagers didn’t marry women from other places in stead of their village,because
they thought women from other regions was only for eating.They usually call the
women for eating “New Year pigs”.For example:“Aunt Liu,I have heard that you’ve got
a nice New Year pig,how fat is it?”“We have to raise it for a longer time,feed it
more.” During the dialogue,the “New Year pig” was tied with ropes,and her handcuffs
is picked up.She was beautiful,with a wonderful stature,and her body hair is
cleaned up.According to the schoolmate’s mom,the woman became fatter and fatter
during the half-a-year period,she was quite slim when she was trapped.
