I think “semi-official” might be stretching it a bit, Acci.

Evening, all. *hugs*

I have been sitting and eating an assortment of cherries, grapes, blackberries and strawberries today. They are tasty but I feel no cooler.

Whine a bit.  Then you can be a fruit whine cooler.

I was going to do quite a lot of things today - folding laundry, tidying, cleaning and tidying the kitchen, etc.

What I actually did was sit out in the garden on my new deckchair and read this. grin

Did you have Chris at your side in a loincloth, fanning you with ostrich feathers and occasionally feeding you a chocolate or a grape or giving you a sip of cooled wine?

Yeah, me too. What we have done? Gone to the shop, briefly. Played computer games. Read. Let Spockle have a couple of really good rampages.
BTW, I swear she’s put on weight again. Hoorah!

Hmm, I actually like mangoes better than papayas.

How’re you liking the new place, Carlotta?  Are you getting settled in and unpacked?

We are pretty close. The bedrooms still need work, and things aren’t hung on the walls yet (mirrors, paintings, etc). We want to make sure we really like the furniture placement before we do that.

We need more seating though. We finally got rid of the disgusting piece of sectional that Chris has lugged around with him since he was in college (yay!).

I also am looking for a deal on one of those “chair and a halves”. I have my very own reading/knitting/spinning are in the living room now, and I want a big comfy chair to do it in. Something like this:

The problem I usually have with those chairs is that the backs only come about a third of the way up my back.  So at best they give no support, while often digging into my backbone.

Can you just expand that picture, print it out in sections, and then glue them to your wall so that it looks as though you have that chair?  Then you get the look of the thing, without the need to dust it or keep the critters from chewing on it!
