Wow.
i really hope that no one really thinks that thesepeople represent what Christianity really believes. They are a hate filled mob. Christianity teaches that although we are all lost, there is love and forgiveness available. NOT that God “Hates” everyone. Just the opposite. (He may hate what is done, especially what is done in His name, but He loves each person enough to have made the ultimate sacrifice.)
Sorry about the rant, but i am SO tired of having such groups being used as an example of what Christianity teaches.
(And folks like these make me sad and angry.)

Don’t worry, I long ago realised that “Christianity” encompasses such a wide range of different ideologies that two groups of people who believe in totally mutually exclusive sets of ideas can both be Christian. Really, the only underlying commonality among Christians is the belief that there was somebody referred to as Christ, and even just who he was and what he did are majorly disputed.
I figure that you’re one of the more rational and common types of Christian, Dave. Well, “rational” in a relative sense, at least. . .
But that brings to mind an interesting philosophical question: if the notion that there is an all-knowing all-powerful all-present God is true, and if He is directly responsible for everything, then can there ever really be said to be a disease that isn’t artificially engineered?
