Yeah, not a very imaginative title, I know. raspberry

Anyhow, just got an email from Borders, and there’s a book out called Fool by Christopher Moore, and it’s a retelling of King Lear through the eyes of Pocket, the king’s jester.  There’s an excerpt here—don’t know if it’s all or part of chapter one.  I’m thinking I’ll have to get this book and read the whole thing.

Warning: the language is a bit bawdy, but not excessively so.

Christopher Moore is well-known for this kind of thing. I like his storytelling, but it’s definitely not for everyone. Lamb was amazing, but pretty darn blasphemous.
