This is coming on BBC2 in about 15 minutes, just as a heads-up for any Pratchett fans in the UK.
Second part is next Wednesday night.

Determined to prevent it if he possibly can, Terry Pratchett takes a personal journey through the science and the reality of what it’s like to be diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.

This two part documentary follows Terry’s race to find a cure as he endeavours to find ways of slowing, mitigating or even reversing its course.

I think I have even more respect for him than before, though I thought it was a bit condescending when they repeated the “If you know anyone….” stuff straight after he had said it downer

I got a bit tearful when he was having trouble reading from his latest book at that convention…

It was a fascinating programme, and I really look forward to the concluding part next week.
