I just read, in a sane, mainstream religion (UCC) publication that some sane, mainstream churches are offering a course called “God Hates Shrimp” in an attempt to explore the insanities of Leviticus and hopefully to reason with Bible thumpin’ literalists in their congregations. (‘Course, if they’re in a sane, mainstream church, they are literally preaching to the converted.)

Heh, I wouldn’t mind attending that myself to see what they have to say.

Of course, this will just make the fanatical fundamentalists cling even harder to their beliefs, to “defend the true way from the rot within” or whatever.
