Anyway yes mantis shrimps can break glass. My friend has a BIG aquarium (pond) and theres an area where there is glass Now he uses TEMPERED glass and a fine net to cover the glass from the inide since the last time he found a mantis broke the glass and there was a leak The pond is pretty small about a size of a kiddie pool but deep and the glass was new apparently he just started with the aquarium/pond and it was just a barren rocky pond with a few big rocks. Long story short it was hard replacing the glass but now he keeps mantis shrimp and other fish in another pond only with no glass
