Right, let me just finish “correcting” the dialogue and action in them to make them more appropriate.

Let’s see, where was I?  Oh yes. . .

Vampire Thug 1:  “Arrrgh!  Alucard, you big meanie!  You took my My Little Ponies!“

Alucard:  “Yeah!  And what are you going to do about it?“

Vampire Thug 1:  “I’ll ask you to give them back!“

Alucard:  “Ha!  You didn’t say please!“

Vampire Thug 1:  “Oh, my apologies.  Please give them back.“

Alucard:  “Right.  Here you go.“

Vampire Thug 1:  “Thank you.  You want to play with my Barbie dolls?“

Alucard:  “Ooooo!  You have the new Barbie glitter make-up!  Thank you!“

Vampire Thug 2:  “Remember, boys and girls:  saying ‘please’ and ‘thank you’ is important!  So, who wants muffins?“

Now, now Accipiter… Remember that Eviscerating Contraption that was thought up for yesterday?  I can always step up production and have it done in a few hours if you don’t give Jen her manga back with all the original dialogue intact.  *shakes finger disapprovingly at Acci*

Oh thank goodness.. I thought this was about the Van Helsing movie. I was going to have to throw tomatos. Horrible bit of movie-making, that. Pretty much exists solely to extend the copyrights on the classic Universal monsters.

BTW, if y’all don’t want to buy or forcibly take someone else’s copies of Hellsing, you can always borrow it from your local library and if they don’t have it, borrow it through Inter-Library Loan.

Check for copies available through http://www.worldcat.org/

Yes, I am a Librarian, why do you ask?

Hellsing, still my favorite Japanese manga.
Rather hard to find, I had to take a train to the next city to get my copies (in English).
I really want those DVDs, but so far I could only find them in French.

I think Alucard is one of the best renditions, personality-wise, of Dracula I’ve seen so far. And the one I like most.
And don’t you think Seras is just the cutest (or is that my peculiar taste) and strongest vampire-girl ever? I mean, sniping with a 345kg 30mm semi-automatic cannon. Makes me feel all giddy. smile
