I don’t know if anyone else ran across this, but I found it amusing. Apparently some of the propaganda writers from the cold war are still employed in Russia. I simply don’t see the advantage for McCain if there is a regional conflict between Russia and Georgia (unless it refers to the southern U.S. state—in which case we may have trouble). Anyway, just an interesting bit that I thought I’d share. smirk

Eh, that’s not so much conspiracy theory as it is political maneuvering.  Russian governments have always really gone for these sorts of “justifications” of their acts.
