Tah came from Idaho, but I believe was staying near Battle Creek for most of his visit.

Yep.  It was a little under an hour and a half drive to reach Hell from where I was.

Flew in/out at Detroit, but I believe Grand Rapids would have been a better location geographically.

It would have been even better to fly into Kalamazoo.  But neither one was financially acceptable.
