It uses biomagnets to get you to quit smoking.
Seems like a scam to me.

I like the Health Warning, “Use should also be avoided during pregnancy”. Well if your pregnant I should hope you’re not smoking rolleyes

And frolicked in the autumn mist
In Western Australi

He told her jokes and crazy facts
And other forum stuff

To hunt her prey in foriegn lands,
And snuggle with Acci!

You’d be surprised how many expectant mothers whine that they “just can’t seem” to quit smoking.

I really don’t understand how people get started smoking in the first place.

There’s one reason Neo =)

Native Americans used tobacco as part of their relgious rituals.  But they usually did not get addicted because of the context in which it was used.  Now a days smoking is used recerationally (sp) so people get addicted.  A lot of chemcials are added to cancer sticks to up the addictive properties.

I long ago gave up trying to understand why people smoke.  I’m just glad I never started.

I hope this doesn’t turn into a discussion as to why people start smoking. I do smoke, and I really should quit, but it is a hard habit to quit, and I smoke more because I enjoy it, rather than I am addicted to it. Tho over the years, it is clear I AM addicted. And the enjoyment has declined in recent years. But it does releave the stress of everyday. But sometimes I have a ciggy now “Just because” and that is showing that I am quite addicted. But quitting for me is more a mental challenge than a psychical addiction. I am a creature of habit.... I love the intoxicating feeling of outside substances.

Booze lets one express themselves more freely.
Tobacco calms one self (tho not physically).
If I could get my hands on real Absinth(e) from Europe, I’m sure I could become quite creative.

I’ve tried the “Shrooms” once, thankfully they where very weak. I did not care for that drug at all.
Like most of this and last generation of Canadians, I’ve done the marijuana (on many occasions in high school). It literally did nothing for me, and all my friends called me a “mello stoner”. I honestly acted no differently high or not. Saved me and my friends butts once going to a concert. We where heading to a concert via the LRT (AkA subway, I guess). Buddy forget the tickets in the car (typical). We went back, and turns out he had locked his keys in the car. While walking towards the LRT station, I noticed a piece of thick wire laying on the ground, so we went to pick it up. We got back to the car and began fishing to unlock the car, while doing so a cop pulled up. We explained the situation (You could tell my friends where frightened) and the cop said, “as long as you show me your drivers registration when you get in, it’s all good” (something to that nature). My friend finally got into the car and headed to the glove box, but I realized that was where all the weed paraphernalia was hiding too. What would you do....?

The cop was starring at him as he reached for the glove box… I distracted him for a second by asking if we could have our IDs back now. He turned his head as my other friend rushed to grab his registration.

The cop had no idea what happened behind his back.

If I was not there, them dummies would of been busted.
I don’t smoke the stuff anymore, but to be honest, smoking it alone(by yourself) is a real relaxer. It’s not a bad drug really. Just a lot of morons smoke it.

Just an FYI, I don’t smoke the stuff anymore, nor do I hang out with those friends.

Long story short, drugs don’t affect me a whole lot. I get more sociable (And being a naturally quiet person, I say more) when I am drunk. That is about it.

But ciggy smoking… I’d would of lost my mind in recent years.
Working 8 day straight is hell… And I tell you this, I am already immune to caffeine. But ciggys… One puff and all your problems melt away. At times, I do wish I never ever started, it’s nasty, unhealthy.... but be it coffee or smokes or the internet… Everyone has at least ONE addiction.

I’m glad I didn’t start up with any drugs.. I seem to have a personality geared to addiction. Was on Vicodin after my gall bladder surgery, all of *two* pills and I found myself thinking ‘well, it *does* stil kinda hurt.. maybe another one..’ a few days later..

I can say I’ve tried marijuana, albiet indirectly and involuntarily. I was working the drive thru at Taco Bell when the biggest sterotype ever pulled up: four Jamaicans, in a VW Beetle, ‘hotboxing’. They even had copies of ‘High Times’, on the seat! It was - again sterotypically - a very large order, and by the time I was finished I’d got enough of whatever they were smoking to feel a little dizzy.. I took my lunch break a little early, and just sat down, trying to clear my lungs and head. Whee, fun, ok, that’s enough of that.

I’ll admit a certain amount of addiction to the Internet, as well. I’m better about it than I was, thankfully.
