I wasn’t really near death, I just had an infection from tooth problems.  The swelling is almost gone now.  She was sick last weekend, and I was sick this weekend.  She is not a happy camper.

Hello.  So how many people who aren’t in jail for murder can say they have seen their spouses guts?

As long as you weren’t holding them I guess that’s okay.

Nope but I was real close, it was disgustingly awesome.

I can say that I wasn’t the least bit interested in seeing my spouse’s guts when she had her C-Section.  And I’m glad they wouldn’t let me past the partition.

They let me stand up and watch, I think they would have let me help if I had asked.  I have never seem a hospital so hospitable.

It wasn’t bad at all, I did even get to go behind the drape when they removed the baby.  For the other ones I was made to sit and not move and don’t touch anything.

Ah.  Well, glad you’re doing better.  And glad you and the lady (?) are still together.  One of these weekends you’ll be able to spend quality time together.

That was me when my daughter was born.  And when I went over to cut the umbilical cord I made sure to avert my eyes from and not turn toward where they were finishing closing up the incision.

I didn’t get to do that on any of them, and I didn’t want to either.
