The Beatles were well marketed. The screaming girls at the american airport in 1964 were paid to scream. I used to think that Love Me Do was great until I realised that I am a ham of the marketing world. My taste is dictated to me by what I see and not what I like. I am a teen.

My father saw the Beatles first concert here in the US.  Said girls were screaming so much you couldn’t hear anything.  They could have just stood there scratching their nuts and it would have been the same.  Correction, that probably would have made the screaming worse.  rolleyes
