A last word on Australian beer…
Several years ago I knew a cute little female Aussie (as are ALL female Aussie’s cute—-as she often told me).

Anyway, she told me to find this beer named…...“Billy something or the other”. She said it was REAL Austrailian beer. Much to my surprise, they actually had the stuff at “Outback”. I ordered one…and, I will admit…it was pretty good——if you like paying 5 bucks a bottle!!!!!!!

From that moment on…Fosters became “real Aussie” beer enough for me…

I’d say you are quite possibly on the right track…keep John Q. Public shivering in their boots over the evil Ivan and how powerful he was and you had an open ticket to spend, spend and SPEND on military buildup…

Interesting take your Ukranian friend had on the book though…

Keep the public afraid of anything, it doesn’t matter what - armed teenagers steeped in videogame violence, Islam, mugging by inner-city poor people, oppression by suburban rich people - and you can control them.  Just be sure to keep them AFRAID.

That’s *my* favorite conspiracy theory.

If you don’t listen to me when I shout, then I might need to start fiddling with things.  Maybe I could have you professing your undying love for somebody.

The explanation is, we were talking about the Australian involvement in the Apollo missions. Someone then speculated they could have be blackmailed into participating in the moon landing hoax by threatening to disrupt their brewing industry. Please forgive us. It’s hard to talk about Australians without mentioning beer.

Oh, now I get it! Thank you! And I dont have any problem with it, I was just wandering why you guys were talking about it, thats all.
