Smerk,

Are you telling me we don’t get the real Foster’s here in Canada? If so, that could be the subject of another hoax thread.

Captain Al, I’m not sure where the Foster’s you drink in Canada is made, but the Foster’s we drink here in the States is actually made in Canada. I guess that still makes it an “import”. What are the “good” beers in Oz, Smerk? I’d like to go there someday and want to know what to look for.

But as for Soviet technology, yes, they had always been behind the West in most respects. The CIA overstated Soviet military and industrial capacity by about four times consistently over a period of decades. The Soviets were better at using the technology they did have, though. The M-16 was a “technologically superior” weapon, but the AK-47 is still one of the best firearms available.

But in the race to the moon, the problem plagued N-1 rocket prevented the Soviets from even setting foot on it. The Soviets also would not be able to get their cosmonauts back to Earth even had they landed on it.

*Groan*

Didnt we get enough anger invoking remarks when Smerk posted that Sep. 11 (hoax questionmark) thing, and some rather expressive people answered? *cough cough* James Redford *cough cough.*

I hope hes not around…

Look. The Moon is Real. There are footprints on the moon from when they stepped on the surface. We know that such things would be cappable today. And what would we care if it was faked? Do we really care? All it means is that they pretended to have landed on the moon and that Alex can add another hoax to the museum.

Well, how do we know the earth is real?
We could be living on a small satellite revolving aground the moon?
Ever think of that?

No. But that would mean that we have been living on a satilite since ancient times.

I think satellite only refers to something orbiting a planet or other non-fusing body… I wonder, does that mean a body orbiting a brown dwarf would be a satellite?
