A YouTube clip of a supposed ‘elevator ghost’ caught on camera has caused a bit of a stir…

Now, not unexpectedly, it has been revealed as a hoax. The video was actually produced for GMP Recruitment as viral marketing for their “Why You Shouldn’t Work Late” campaign, as revealed here. Presumably, the message is that late working lead might lead to supernatural encounters, possession and finally eternal damnation as one of the lost souls.

Mind you, I get time-and-a-half for working unsociable hours, so it’s probably a fair trade-off.

Aw.  That didn’t even try to be scary.

That wasn’t a ghost.  That was me getting to the office in my usual Monday morning manner. 

Heh. I watched that in a slight state of tension (in case it was a ‘screamer’ style ‘ghost’).
And then… awwww. The poor little ‘ghost’ looked so sad!
Whosacutelittleghost? Whois? Youare!

Aw, those mean men squashed that poor little old lady ghost…
