I wonder whether they’ll start charging for the museum once they’ve finished the upgrade…

Probably. Everyone wants money now.
I liked the Met’s policy because it made art available to everyone who wanted to see it. Having a set price limits the museums to those that can afford it. They didn’t even call it an admission fee, they referred to the price as a “suggested donation amount”
and you could get a reciept and write it off your taxes if you wanted to as well.
MoMa, on the other hand, was not so generous.

Well… I think you only have to pay for one gallery here (some of the others have exhibitions sometimes which are charged for, but the rest (any permanent bits) is free). The museums are pretty much all free.

Make something with chillis, Boo.
And greetings to all.

Hello, Acci.
*hugs*
I probably will. We had curry on Monday, and then that creamy-ish pasta yesterday, so today could be a chilli-related recipe day.

The normal price is only $10, or $16 with co-admission to the Nash Sculpture Center (which I also want to see). The Turners are more important than that, though, so it’s an extra eight bucks a person. I also can’t find anything about a cheaper co-admission to the Nash with that ticket, but I can ask at the museum. At least the Crow Collection of Asian Loot Art is free.

Ooo, what a coincidence! I had curry this morning. We’re psychically (or perhaps psychotically) linked!

Oof. An extra charge on top of already charging is a bit harsh.

Right, I’m off to see what we’ve got in the freezer. Back soon.
