Morning, guys.
*hugs*
I went for a nap.
I was tired and cold and sadly.

It is cold feeling here today, what with the hurricane force winds and the light sprinkling of rain we are occasionally getting.  It was near 90 yesterday, now mid 40’s.

For those of you that care - The Dallas Museum of Art sucks.  Every other museum in the area gives me a discount for one of two memberships I have, but not them.  And to top it off I can get in with one guest for free through work… next week.  But this weekend is the last they’ll have the exhibition I want to see, so I’m rather bitchy about them right now.

Oh dear. Have you battened down your chickens, Neo?

So, the DMA sucks because they are charging you standard entry fee, Chary?
I’m confused.

Um, no.  They are a hearty bunch, I hope.  If they weren’t so stupid they could walk up the ramp and go into the sheltered portion, but they are as I said, stupid.

Well, they are chickens - you can’t expect intelligence.

Yes.  Yes they do.  raspberry

It’s $18 a person and I was hoping they would have a discount like everyone else, but they don’t.

Yeah, $18 per person does sound pretty steep.

The Met in NYC charged $10 I believe, but it was a “suggested” price. You could pay what you wanted. I can’t tell you how many times I went there and only paid a quarter when I first moved up there and was broke.

I heard rumours they were changing that policy (and raising thier admission price), but that was how it was up until I left.
