Oh Maegan, as delicious as that sounds .... within 15 minutes of swallowing I’d be in the emergency room.  Not the spices, the oil and fat. From the age of 19 onward I spent a LOT of time being transported to the hospital, being given demerol all because I cannot eat stuff deep fried, pan fried etc.  THAT SUKS!!!

However, I can eat spices coming out the ying yang!

I did see that it can be baked, also!  But these things are SO good.  Jason (Mr. Southwest Eggroll Expert) says they taste JUST like the Chili’s version.

Something tells me this topic will grow to gargantuan proportions.

At least it’ll all be in one place.

I’ve only tried avocado a couple of times, and I find it ok, but a bit bland. Does it actually add flavour to recipes, or is it mostly used as a subtle-flavoured filler?

That was rather my point - three of the above threads were started about individual recipes, and the fourth was about websites.
This is meant to be rather more inclusive.

But hey, feel free to mock me for trying to get it all into one place.

I wasn’t trying to mock.  I was trying to help.  Get it all in one place, that is.

I was thinking, “didn’t we already have one or two of these threads?”  But then upon researching it I saw that they were specifically about a particular recipe.  So I figured I’d link them here to help keep everything in one place.

If I was trying to mock you I would have posted it more like:

Haven’t we already had one of these cooking threads posted before?  Like this one.  Or this one.  Or maybe this one.  And not quite so much this one.

And I’ll see if I can get some of my wife’s better recipes (even though they’re all good) and share them.  Boo already has two, I believe (turkey loaf/meatballs and meat spice rub).

I’m making stuffed peppers for dinner tonight. I’ll post the recipe if they are any good.

Tonight we had a recipe that I came up with randomly.

I diced a red onion and a handful of mushrooms, then I fried up a gammon steak with them in a squidge of spray-olive-oil.
I then chopped the gammon steak into small squares.
