I’d love to see if I can email you the picture that was taken 2 years ago when almost all of Dave’s family was in town.  There were only 20 or so of us in it, but it looks like more!

I was looking at your family tree, and it’s pretty straightforward, but the sheer number of you is still confusing.

It’s okay.  Swelling is down, but I now have a blood clot in my foot/ankle. (About 6 inches is hard and painful.)  The doc said the swelling cut off blood supply, that’s how I got the clot.  It’s just “superficial”, so the doc won’t do anything about it. Urk.

But the weather is fantastic!  I am seriously trying to think about a way to get to the mountains soon. *sigh*

How are you doing, Boo?  I hope that some of the darkness has passed. 

(I am also trying to figure out a way to get the dragon to go for a bit of a cuddle before she goes to work.  If I wait until after work, she will be too tired and her feet will hurt…)

Oh dear. Will the blood clot clear by itself?

I’m ok. I’ve been spending a lot of time cuddling the little girls, and I’m a bit better.

Yeah. The clot will clear be itself. Eventually.  until then it will be swollen and sore as hell.  And it is right on the inside of my left foot!  It wraps under about an inch under my foot and runs up my ankle. Urk.  Oh well.)

The dragon has actually been really cool about helping me keep my ankle wrapped and such.  It’s a pain. Figuratively and literally.

So, whose little girls were you giving a cuddle to? (Something about little girls makes life seem a bit brighter somehow.  They always have that infectious smiling attitude about them. Especially if they are wearing those cute little frilly dresses.) No kidding.

Something about them just makes one’s heart warm somehow.

(It makes me want to get out a storybook and start reading out loud for some reason.)

Now you see why I have so many kids!

Well, that’s as maybe, but I was talking about Tig and Spock…
They don’t wear frilly dresses.

Dave forgot that you’ve got Tig and Spock.  He has a hard time with his memory (he was in a car accident in ‘94 and broke the steering wheel across his head.  Did bad things!)

Ah. Okay.

They are pretty cute too, but I don’t know about putting them in frilly dresses!

I’m glad to hear that you have been able to spend some extra time with them. (And I bet THEY are too..)
