Homeopathy cures where Conventional Allopathic Medicine (CAM) fails

Actually, since the placebo effect is part of conventional medicine, and homeopathy is no more effective than a placebo, homeopathy cures where conventional medicine would likely have been equally effective. And, as Accipiter pointed out, it also fails in a great many situations where conventional medicine does not.

Well, at least she’s following her own lead, since she appears to have created a ‘cause’ on social actions to ‘promote homoeopathy’ (members: 1). If you read her profile, you will find that all of her credentials are homoeopathy derived.

Both her profile and her “homoeopathy cures…” quote are word-for-word copies of her entries on other sites (1)(2).

Also, for someone so versed in homoeopathic medicine, I’m rather surprised that she doesn’t know that CAM doesn’t stand for “Conventional Allopatric Medicine”, it is an abbreviation for “Complementary and Alternative Medicine” (i.e. homoeopathy).

I distrust people who sign on to a forum using their professional title, especially with an avatar like that.
It gives her less credibility instead of more.

My wife’s a RN and we have several friends in the ‘health care industry’ who are doctors and they would NEVER manifest themselves like that.

That’s why I never use my official title of ‘Cardinal’ on the forum.
