That kinda sucks, Ren, for you, although congratulations to her on getting the job.

I’ve just checked- to make the hour flight from Glasgow (International, none of that Prestwick Airport shite) to Southampton- from £60.
By train- upwards of 7 hours for £80. Do the math.

Yeah, internal flights have been increasingly cheaper and easier than trains over the last few years.

Which is a shame. I enjoy a train journey more than a cheap-ass flight (I’ve seen a lot of films).

I like trains, but I really prefer not to spend hours and hours and hours on them…

I was feeling slightly invisible, but that is common for me.
I am fairly well today, the urge to fall down the stairs to avoid work today wasn’t as great as it usually is.

Well, that’s something, at least.
Got any plans for the weekend?

Work until after midnight tonight. Tomorrow they are having some kind of baby animal day at the fair grounds, might take the kids to that, then work until after midnight. Sunday Mothers Day obviously (the second one where she was about to pop out a baby) out to eat, Mexican hopefully, various yet unplanned things, work until after midnight. Yay my weekend and I am putting in around 20 hours.
